Project Description:
SCF Roofing and Construction were employed to undertake all the roofing elements of this barn conversion. The client requested a high spec roof to add warmth to an open plan barn area. The brief was to install an energy efficient and attractive roof.

The project included full removal of all in-situ roofing materials in a safe and environmentally friendly manner including removal of internal walls, all slates, batten and roof timbers.

The roof was then rebuilt using traditional joinery methods. Composite sheets were installed to provide excellent insulation and additional efficiency. The full roof area of circa 140 sq meters was then re-slated using high quality Reclaimed Welsh slate.
